Not really news, but the audition footage made the rounds this week.

We could have had a Kurt Russell Han Solo and a Greatest American Hero as Luke Skywalker.  Somewhere out there, there's an earth that did have that.

I think Kurt Russell could've been a pretty good Han, but I agree that he would've lost a lot of the brashness that Harrison brought to the part.  And it's probably because I don't think Harrison liked the part, and some of that "I don't want to be here" attitude really helped make Han a cool character.  I think Kurt would've been a bit more enthusiastic, and I think the character would've lost something because of it.
